Weekly Eucharist Services

Tuesdays at 12:10 p.m.

On Tuesday of each week, beginning at 12:10pm, there is an opportunity to partake in a simple Eucharist service. The service includes readings from Scripture, time for prayer, time for meditation, and the celebration of Holy Communion. This is a good chance to come out if you are unable to worship at any other point during the week and partake in the Eucharist. Services will run about 20-30 minutes and coffee will be provided.

Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m.

A worship service is an important time to provide people with a reverential space in which to encounter God, both in the personal and corporate realms and at Augustana, we strive to provide that space and time for such an encounter to happen.

Augustana is grounded in the liturgical traditions of the Lutheran Church and offers worship services that allow each Sunday service to be as vibrant and rich an experience as possible.

Rooted in Word of God, Augustana Evangelical Lutheran Church is a fellowship of believers from diverse cultures and backgrounds who worship God in downtown Edmonton by:

  • Proclaiming the good news of Christ crucified and risen

  • Administering Baptism and Holy Communion

  • Showing and sharing God's love

  • Promoting justice and helping to meet spiritual, emotional 

  • Physical needs in our congregation, community and world.
