Seniors' Lunch (or Seniors' Coffee)

The seniors from the Augustana congregation meet once a month for ten months of the year (commencing each September) for good fellowship and excellent food. A meal is served to the seniors and this is then followed by a program of music, a talk or other entertainment. The day begins around 11:45 a.m. with the meal and is then followed by the program. We usually end the event around 2:00 p.m. There is a small cost for each meal. In December, there is also a chance to go carolling with the group. This is an excellent chance to spread some Christmas cheer in places where that may be in short supply. This program is an enjoyable time for all who attend!

Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m.

A worship service is an important time to provide people with a reverential space in which to encounter God, both in the personal and corporate realms and at Augustana, we strive to provide that space and time for such an encounter to happen.

Augustana is grounded in the liturgical traditions of the Lutheran Church and offers worship services that allow each Sunday service to be as vibrant and rich an experience as possible.
